1. Who we are
Immergity Immigration Inc. ("Immergity", "we", "us", or "our") operates this website, immigration assessment tools, consultation booking flows, online forms, and the Immergity mobile application when released through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, TestFlight, internal testing tracks, or similar channels.
Immergity Immigration Inc. is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Immigration guidance and professional immigration consulting services are provided or reviewed by Pranav Bhushan, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), CICC #R705848, where applicable.
2. Privacy contact
Our designated privacy contact is the Privacy Officer, Immergity Immigration Inc.
Email for privacy, access, correction, and deletion requests: info@immergityimmigration.com.
Mailing address for privacy requests: Privacy Officer, Immergity Immigration Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. A full street mailing address should be added before final app-store submission if required by the review team, app listing, or applicable law.
3. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, protect, and delete personal information when you visit our website, use our tools, use the app, submit an assessment, request a referral, book a consultation, communicate with us, pay an invoice, or otherwise interact with Immergity.
This policy is intended to be available through this website, within the app where applicable, and through App Store Connect and Google Play Console privacy policy fields.
4. App account status
The Immergity app is currently planned as an assessment and referral tool without user account creation. If the app later adds account creation, account deletion controls and notices will be added in the app and this Privacy Policy will be updated before that feature is released.
5. Personal information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, country of residence, country of citizenship, immigration goals, current immigration status, family details, education, work experience, language-test information, occupational information, employer or job-offer information, consultation notes, uploaded documents, payment-related information, messages, and records of your instructions or requests.
For app and assessment features, we may collect assessment inputs and outputs, referral-request details, device type, operating system, approximate region, IP address, app interactions, error logs, diagnostics, and security logs.
6. Sensitive immigration assessment data
The website, tools, and app may collect sensitive immigration-related details where relevant to an assessment or referral request. This may include immigration status, status-expiry dates, prior refusals, inadmissibility concerns, criminal-history information, relationship and family details, work and education history, financial indicators, identity-document details, and other information needed to assess possible Canadian immigration pathways.
We collect this information only to operate assessment tools, generate diagnostic results, route referral requests, prepare for consultations, provide professional services if retained, maintain records, and comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
7. How assessment and referral data is processed
Assessment data submitted through the app may be sent to Supabase for diagnostic-engine processing, storage, and retrieval. Referral requests submitted through the app may be sent to Google Firebase and Firestore for referral workflow, storage, notification, and follow-up management.
Supabase and Google Firebase/Firestore act as technology processors or service providers for the app and related workflows. Their servers or subprocessors may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
8. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to respond to inquiries, operate immigration tools, process app assessments, manage referral requests, assess eligibility, book consultations, communicate with you, provide professional services if retained, prepare or manage immigration-related work, process payments, issue invoices and receipts, maintain client records, comply with professional and regulatory obligations, prevent misuse, secure our systems, improve our website, app, and services, and meet legal requirements.
Automated tools, calculators, diagnostic engines, and app features may process information you enter to generate general results. Tool outputs are not a complete immigration opinion and are not a substitute for case-specific advice from an authorized representative.
9. Consent and app permissions
By submitting information to us, using our website, using the app, booking a consultation, or communicating with us, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Where app permissions are required, the app should request only permissions that are reasonably connected to the feature being used and should explain permission use in the app where required by the applicable platform.
You may withdraw consent where legally permitted, subject to reasonable notice and any legal, professional, contractual, billing, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping obligations.
10. Disclosure of personal information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information to technology processors and service providers who support our operations, including Supabase, Google Firebase/Firestore, website hosting providers, cloud infrastructure providers, analytics providers, email providers, booking systems, payment processors, form tools, document-management tools, database providers, security tools, error-monitoring tools, and professional support providers.
If you retain us for immigration services, information may be shared with government departments, visa offices, tribunals, courts, educational institutions, employers, translators, interpreters, credential-assessment bodies, testing agencies, professional advisors, or other parties where necessary for the specific service and where authorized or legally permitted.
We may also disclose information where required or authorized by law, court order, regulator, the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, a professional obligation, or with your consent.
11. Professional confidentiality
Where a consultant-client relationship exists, client information and documents are handled subject to professional confidentiality obligations. Confidential information may still need to be disclosed in limited circumstances, including where authorized by the client, required by law, required by a court or tribunal, required by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, necessary for assistance in providing services, or otherwise permitted under applicable professional obligations.
12. Payments, invoices, receipts, and billing records
Payment information may be processed through third-party payment processors, financial institutions, app stores, or invoicing platforms. We generally do not store full payment-card numbers on our own systems. Billing records may include your name, contact information, invoice details, receipts, payment status, tax information, refund records, and related communications.
Where professional immigration consulting services are provided, billing, advance payments, invoices, receipts, disbursements, refunds, and records are handled according to applicable law, service agreements, and professional requirements.
13. App store, subscriptions, and purchases
If the Immergity app offers paid digital features, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or app-store billing in the future, Apple, Google, or another app-store provider may independently collect and process purchase, subscription, refund, device, account, and tax information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We may receive limited transaction or subscription status information needed to operate the app, provide support, prevent misuse, or reconcile access.
14. Storage, safeguards, and cross-border processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No website, app, email system, cloud service, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Some service providers, including Supabase and Google Firebase/Firestore, may store or process information outside Ontario or Canada, including in the United States. Where information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
15. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide services, process assessments, manage referral requests, respond to inquiries, operate tools, maintain business and professional records, comply with regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending on whether you are a website visitor, app user, tool user, assessment user, referral requester, consultation client, paying client, former client, or person connected to a client file. We may be unable to delete information that we are legally, professionally, contractually, or operationally required to retain.
16. Cookies, analytics, and diagnostics
Our website may use cookies, Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare logs, security logs, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand usage, improve performance, measure page views and traffic sources, detect errors, and protect against misuse. You can adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies, but some features may not function properly.
The app may use diagnostics, crash reporting, server logs, Firebase-related logs, and similar technologies to operate the app, diagnose problems, maintain security, and improve reliability. If advertising, cross-app tracking, or similar tracking technologies are introduced in the future, the app must provide the disclosures and permissions required by the relevant platform and applicable law before that feature is released.
17. Email, notifications, and communications
If you contact us, submit a form, book a consultation, submit an assessment, request a referral, use a tool, or request information, we may use your contact details to respond and to send service-related messages. If the app offers notifications, you may be able to enable or disable them through your device or app settings. You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications where an unsubscribe option is provided.
18. Data deletion instructions
The Immergity app currently has no user accounts. To request deletion of assessment data, referral request data, or related app data, email info@immergityimmigration.com with the email address or phone number used in the assessment or referral request and state that you are requesting deletion of assessment data.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, regulatory, billing, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or professional recordkeeping reasons. Retained information will be limited to what is reasonably required.
19. Children's privacy
The website, tools, and app are not directed at individuals under 18. Immigration matters may involve information about dependent children or family members, but information about a minor should be provided only by a parent, guardian, authorized representative, or person legally permitted to provide it.
20. Third-party links and services
Our website and app may link to government websites, app stores, educational institutions, immigration tools, payment processors, booking systems, analytics providers, social platforms, or other third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, accuracy, accessibility, or content of third-party services.
21. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory privacy laws that apply because of your location or the app platform used.
22. Privacy policy availability for app stores
This Privacy Policy is intended to be publicly accessible for website users and for app-store review purposes. It may be linked in App Store Connect, Google Play Console, inside the Immergity app, and in any relevant app listing or support flow. The data practices described here must remain consistent with the app's actual data collection, use, sharing, retention, deletion, and data safety disclosures.
23. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website, app, or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy, where legally permitted.
24. Contact
For privacy-related questions, access requests, correction requests, deletion requests, app data requests, or concerns, contact the Privacy Officer at info@immergityimmigration.com. Mailing address for privacy requests: Privacy Officer, Immergity Immigration Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Add the full street mailing address before app submission if Apple, Google, or applicable law requires a complete mailing address in the published policy.
